I’m Estelle Earnshaw, living in Surrey with my husband and dog. I’m also a sister, mother, aunt and grandmother.
I enjoy breathing!
I originally trained in Business Studies and after working for a few years in the pensions industry, I paused to give life to 3 beautiful children, worked for a while as a playgroup assistant and then retrained in the field of Pastoral Care and Counselling. Some time after gaining an MSc in Psychological Counselling & Psychotherapy, I became a BACP Senior Accredited Therapist. For more than 20 years, I worked as a psychotherapist and counsellor in private practice and for an NHS Department of Spirituality and Mental Health. I now enjoy facilitating Creative Mindfulness Sessions.
I’m the sort of person who likes to think I’m calm and gentle, but when I get stressed I can be anything but! For example if the computer decides it has a mind of its own, I can quickly end up screaming. A few years ago I came across the practice of Mindfulness and ever since have been convinced of the great value that this has on helping to keep me mentally, physically and spiritually healthy.
No doubt you will quickly realise that I love the sea, dogs, walking, art, writing and music. You may or may not share these passions, but I really hope that your own creativity is allowed to flourish and that you find your own ways of exploring whatever it is that gives you joy and peace.
I hope to continue to practise breathing for the rest of my life!

I support the charity ‘UK for UNHCR’. Their website unrefugees.org.uk gives further information about what they do:
“We believe that every person fleeing conflict and persecution has the right to seek protection and rebuild their lives.”
